What Exactly Does The Early Bird Get?

You'll notice the time is very early on this post. Aren't we supposed to sleep late on vacation? We're driving 4 hours or so to Thousand Islands New York and decided to get an early start. We'll stay there tonight and drive to New York City tomorrow. They have boat tours and a ferry to Boldt Castle that sound interesting. Our neighbor said it was a nice drive to go through there. We don't have any reservations so we'll see how that works out. The planner in me wants to go online and make boat and hotel reservations but I'll live dangerously and resist the urge.
