We got up at 5am to go fishing today (Tuesday). Went out and the wind was really strong. Made it hard to stay in one place. We finally gave up catfishing and anchored in a cove. Tom started catching bluegill so we've got a decent mess of those. Zach got a small bass but it wasn't quite big enough to keep.
We came back and did Mr BBQ for breakfast. Then someone got the idea to go fish off the Barkley Dam. So we loaded up all the fishing gear and went over the dam to fish off the rocks. We're pretty sure the guys gave us the faulty equipment because they were the only 3 catching fish. We came back early with the kids. It of course started pouring and soaked everything. We will definitely need a new canopy. The rain was a little too much for it.
Steve is in big trouble with Nana. He backed into the campsite and played bumper cars with the motorhome. Nana wasn't pleased :) And Now a Word From Zach: It is currentlly still POURING! We think we'll take a nap while we wait for a break in the weather.
