Welp, we're off on our next adventure. Right now it's called My Traffic Nightmare. We decided to go to the Outer Banks (beach area in North Carolina) for the weekend. I assumed leaving at noon would mean we'd miss the DC traffic. Nope-the joke's on me. It's been bumper to bumper all the way so far on 495 and 95. At this rate we might be there by midnight (should have only been 7 hours). In between dancing while driving and trying to eat more mini chocolate donuts than me, Tom's been trying hard not to go too crazy at the traffic. We've exited on Rt 1 to see if that'll be better. So far it's about the same as I-95.
We're staying at a campground that's supposed to be walking distance to the beach--if we ever get there.
