Rushed Rushmore

We just left Mt Rushmore. It was one of those places where you drive forever to get there and spend 10 minutes looking. Zach found some Fools Gold in the gift shop so he's gonna try to fool everyone into thinking he found real gold. Don't tell him I blogged it. The drive up to Rushmore was scenic but steep. Some places coming down had a 10% grade. That's scary when Tom is driving, looking, talking to the kids and taking pictures out the window :) They sure don't make the roads in South Dakota and Wyoming for 1990 vans towing a trailer.

We're heading to Rapid City to find some dinner. Then we'll start the 900 mile drive to Chicago to see the Sears Tower.
