It Must Have Rained in Indiana

Apparently there are flood warnings out for all of the creeks, streams and rivers around Indianapolis. There is standing water everywhere. We got bumped from the campsite we had reserved because of standing water. They moved us to one higher up on the hill where it's mostly dry.

We got Ryan checked in at the Convention Center and then had Steak and Shake for dinner. The highlight of checkin was a huge Pikachu hanging from the ceiling, a cool water fountain and escalators which they rode about 20 round trips.

We had planned on using a taxi to get back and forth but it turned out the front desk lady at the campground sent us to Enterprise rentacar and we rented an economy for about the same price as a taxi would have been. I have to say that her idea of the rental place being 'just down the road' turned out to be a good 15 miles. Guess down the road means a different distance to me.

Tom and Ryan are outside at the picnic table getting eaten alive by bugs and playing Pokemon. They just came in and said they're moving to the laundry room to get away from the mosquitoes.

I'm thinking Zach and I will go to the Indianapolis zoo tomorrow instead of sitting watching Pokemon for 6 hours. It's about a mile from the Convention Center so we might take a taxi since Zach really wants to ride in one. I'm going to look up pricing first to make sure it won't cost me $20 to ride a mile :)
